Most life forms are not aggressive and prefer to flee into distant distances when the player approaches. As his base develops, the player will be able to modify his equipment.This will allow you to dive to greater depths and carry with you a larger volume of vital gas mixture.
A ship looming over the horizon will attract the player’s gaze over and over again. No, he is not a texture in the sky. This is a full-fledged location that the player can get to after making radiation protection equipment. In it you can profit from rare resources and learn some details of the disaster.
The game world is simply teeming with a wide variety of flora and fauna. During research, depending on the depth and time of day, the player will encounter more and more new species of fish and plants. Particularly liked individuals can be easily caught and placed in a special aquarium, where they will delight the eye of a lone survivor. As for the graphical component, it is magnificent. Underwater landscapes are incredibly beautiful, and the design of individual biomes is often stunning, striking in their beauty and unusualness. Here you will find safe shallow waters, forests of multi-meter underwater mushrooms, titanic reefs, and entire floating islands kept afloat by giant spherical creatures.
The fauna of the world is no less diverse, from luminous fish the size of a fist to huge creatures carrying entire reefs.
In addition to improving his own equipment, the player is free to build underwater bases and vehicles. The player has at his disposal a pack of ready-made modules, by combining which the player is free to build a wide variety of structures. The only limitation to the player’s imagination is the limited strength of structures. It will not be possible to build a multi-kilometer tunnel hanging in the water column. I would also like to mention the tube system with which the player can carry oxygen from the surface. This will make it much easier to travel around the world and explore the many underwater caves.
With transport in the game everything is much more interesting. If to create a simple glider the player only needs to collect the necessary resources, then the production of more advanced machines, such as the Cyclops submarine, is much more labor-intensive. To begin with, the player will have to find drawings scattered around the world. And these drawings can be literally anywhere. The spawn radius of drawings is limited quite conditionally. Most of the advanced blueprints are located near the Aurora, the very ship on which the player crashed onto the planet.Also, while wandering around the world, the player will find blueprints for more advanced tools, such as a DNA transmitter, terraformer and gravity gun.
Overall the game is quite player friendly. The world is not particularly aggressive and most of the time the player is not in danger. There are not many predators, most of which can be easily silenced with a knife. Those who like to survive on the edge can only be attracted to the game by its unusual world and beautiful graphics. For those who prefer meditative development to the every-second struggle for life, I strongly recommend that you familiarize yourself with the game as soon as possible.

Vortex gives players the opportunity to run across the surface of distant planets and try to survive surrounded by alien fauna. The world greets us with beautiful graphics and a variety of familiar and not so familiar plants. Armed with the instinct of self-preservation, the player will have to create comfortable living conditions for his loved one with his own hands. The crafting mechanics are identical to what The Forest offered us. The player has at his disposal a set of ready-made buildings, for the construction of which it is necessary to drag a certain amount of resources to the site of construction of the corresponding fortification.
All sorts of predators will interfere with the player’s ability to live happily ever after. Flying dragon-like creatures are available. And if during the day the player is relatively safe, then at night the situation changes dramatically. All kinds of unknown creatures will actively press on the player, trying to bite off a juicier piece.
I would also like to mention the process of obtaining food. Until the player finds crops suitable for domestication, he will have to obtain food exclusively by hunting. Many of the most exquisite obscene compositions will come to your mind during the next race for the local equivalent of a wild boar through the impenetrable jungle with a spear to the advantage.

Despite the complexity, the game will also appeal to those who like to relax their brains, thanks to the sandbox mode and the low complexity of the initial tasks, which can be replayed again and again.
It’s not really a game. Rather, it is an entertainment program that gives the player the opportunity to create solar systems and even entire galaxies with his own hands, subsequently burning them in the flames of large-scale disasters.
Universe Sandbox 2 is an easy-to-learn tool for modeling the behavior of celestial systems. The player is free to add objects to our solar system, or change the properties of existing ones, observing the results. In addition, it is possible to create your own solar system. No restrictions. A system of three stars, around which a couple of dozen planets revolve, each with a dozen satellites, or a system where one star is in the center and the other is on the periphery.
Of course, such systems, put together hastily, are quickly doomed to disaster. But with the proper skill, you can create an exotic and balanced system in just a couple of hours. Watching the scale of disasters is no less fascinating. Thanks to the ability to regulate the speed of time, the player will be able to see in great detail the consequences of the collision of two gas giants.
The game also contains a set of pre-prepared situations designed to contemplate the scale of possible disasters. The most impressive of them is the collision of two galaxies and a variation on the theme “What if the earth had 20 moons”. Also included is a set of several star systems that the player can edit and change to his liking. In addition, the program is an excellent generator of space-themed desktop wallpapers.

And the most persistent ones can include financial restrictions and a real model of the thermal impact of the atmosphere.
In general, the player is free to do whatever he wants within the framework of his program. You can surround each planet with a dozen artificial satellites or build a grandiose orbital city. Separately, it is worth mentioning about the astronauts. Residents of Kerbin, cheerful green men, each of whom is unique. And each of them could die or, even worse, be left dangling in orbit without fuel. Those who are stuck in space can be killed with impunity, so as not to spoil the interplanetary landscapes. Or you can muster your will and organize a full-fledged rescue operation, during which time the mortality rate of astronauts will increase sharply.
The game allows you to fully experience the complexity of space travel. There are no warp engines or other sci-fi goodies in the game. For most parts, real-life spacecraft components served as prototypes. The physical model presented in the game, although highly simplified, nevertheless quite accurately simulates the behavior of the spacecraft at all stages of flight. The reason for the simplification was the fact that not every user has access to the enormous computing power of NASA computers.
In general, the game can entice anyone who is not alien to cosmic romance. Every successful flight will make you jump with delight, and numerous failures will teach you to analyze your actions and look for mistakes in what seemed ideal. For the most experienced engineers, the ability to drag small asteroids into planetary orbits has been added.

I had high hopes for it, I really liked it at first, but pretty quickly the game severely disappointed me. Too not obvious in simple moments (without a wiki you won’t be able to figure out how and what kind of corral you need to get for bleach), but at the same time too simple where you would like detailed elaboration. For example, building a base. There is no need to put up a partition for the airlock so that it doesn’t flood, you don’t know where the air comes from, etc.d.
Plus, this is essentially a purely grinding game, and grinding is stupid for the sake of grinding. The whole gameplay – get all the blueprints (stsuko, I haven’t been able to find parts of the Cyclops’ bridge for two hours, I’ve been crawling through all the damn dunes), build everything, and… That’s it. There’s nothing else to do in the game.
The world is VERY small. Okay, it’s not generated randomly yet, to hell with it, but it’s so small that it’s a shame.
But the game is beautiful, atmospheric, a good idea, so many things could be done. But it turned out to be a stupid grind with a very small world, in which, in fact, there is nothing special to do.
